The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.
Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Maintenance - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Mary - August 3 - 4:56 amYou are all in for a SHOCK! 30,000 mile checkup: $657.09 (Labor was to be $395.42, the rest was for air filters, wiper blades, brake fluid, and... $28.95 labor to check the air pressure of the tires). I told them I would just have the Oil filter and oil change (new 10,000 mile synthetic oil). The oil change cost $120.00 . They said they did not and do not check the fluid levels along with the oil change. The 35,000 mile check up (no oil change), just fluid checks inspect, clean battery cover,check air pressure, tighten nuts and bolts: over $400. 00 (because that labor costs $342.00 of the $400). I am looking for a Ford and/or a new mechanic.

Disappointed - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By mrbongo - July 8 - 5:16 am4th Lexus bought largely on the capacity. has about 25% more space than competitors. interior quality has slipped with each purchase. 1999 gs was first and best. main complaint is the use of vinyl on seats and arm rests. it cant cost that much more to put leather on instead of vinyl. quality of leather has been progressively less with each Lexus i bought. "99gs, 2003 rx, 2008 gs and now 2010rx. passenger seat being replace due to wrinkles and bumpiness. poor quality control. the quality of the carpet is not as good as in prior yrs. being nit picking but lexus is not the luxury car it was in "99. i will probably buy a different brand. was impressed with Hyundai Veracruz.

Sore Back - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Soreback1 - June 11 - 4:30 amI got a great deal on the car but in my 112 mile drive home my back hurts so back I need to return the car. My rear and back really hurt and this morning I am still hurting. I love this car totally but am so bummed out that the seat is so hard that me as well as my passenger could not get home fast enough after the first 50 miles. I am so disappointed as it is the most I have ever paid for a car. Everything else is amazing.

Dont Mess With A Good Thing - 2009 Lexus RX 350
By Clayton - June 5 - 5:03 amOur 2000 RX 300 had cleared the 125,000 mark so I took the wife car shopping at the Dallas Auto Show. She looked at 10-15 comparable mid-size SUVs and choose the 2009 RX 350 -- hands down. We had great luck with the first RX and we saw nothing we liked better than the 09 RX. Had it now for about a month and weve taken two trips. Super comfortable and WAY more fuel efficient than our original RX. Also, the turning radius is greatly improved. I think the best part of the whole deal though is that after 125,000 trouble free miles, the Lexus dealer gave us 26% of our original purchase price. Pretty unbelievable for a nine year old car with 125,000 on the ODO.

By jmartin - May 17 - 5:03 pm1) Navigation system, with adaptive headlights, and rear camera not worth the purchase. Save money by buying a Garmin and jawbone, which work and outperform, what is on the Lexus. Lexus needs to rethink and engineer the technology with the thought in mind that less is more! 2) Lexus reliability is reason for purchase/lease and the appointments which come with the automobile are very nice. 3) Outstanding service with loaner car is a plus as well.

noisy car - 2016 Lexus RX 350
By Raymond S. - May 10 - 7:56 amCar has an annoying drone noise when starting up and driving. Was told it was the exhaust and Lexus was designing a new system which when available would be installed. Have not been notified yet after 4 months. Intend to check with dealer to see what is happening. My guess is that if they are serious, the new system will be on the 2017 models and will then be available to be replaced on the 2016 cars for the people who complain.

Glad I leased - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Fang - May 6 - 3:00 amGood comfort and ride. Gas mileage is surprisingly good, between 18 and 24 mpg depending on how much city vs. highway driving we do. Room inside is good for four people. Cargo area is disappointing with rear seat up. Rx is easy to drive and park. Im not really overly impressed with anything about the RX except the power plant, it has very good power for a car of this weight. I will return the RX in 23 months but feel satisfied so far. Just not impressed enough to want to buy it.

Mixed Bag - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Matthew Jacob - April 11 - 9:03 pmThe bean counters at Lexus have struck. My 2005 had a luxurious interior with an almost all wood steering wheel, shift knob and fine leather throughout. The 2010 has a trace of wood and cheaper leather. Accent lines on the exterior appear contrived and overall design not as attractive as the 2005. The 12V plug is buried in the console and needs to be more accessible. Trip computer on 2010 hard to read and use-much inferior to 2005. Cooled ventilated seats barely cool. Side molding on 2005 useful to avoid dents and dings-molding at bottom of door of 2010 virtually useless. The transmission, power and comfort are noticeably improved. But I miss my 2005.

Drive Train - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Micky Corsetti - February 13 - 10:00 amI was making a turn going approx 10 miles an hour when a retaining clip on the right front axle broke resulting in the car not being able to move except to roll to a stop. The car had to be towed to a Lexus dealership. They said there was also a bolt missing in the bearing carrier. Now I am afraid to drive worrying that it will happen again. I took it back to the dealership I purchased it from to see if they would give me my money back so I could purchase another car, but they would only give me 75% of my purchase price. I left the dealership very disappointed,with my car. What would have happened if this happened on the freeway?

My new Lexus RX 350 - 2009 Lexus RX 350
By cheryl - January 23 - 7:36 pmI have had my Lexus for three days. I am still wondering if it is the right vehicle for me. It is a better fit for my smaller size. Its easy to drive. My escalade was way to big. I love thr shape. The interior could use an upgrade.
